Choose your
photos |
Choose pictures that will look
great! Avoid blurry, scratched, torn, grainy, or odd shaped (scrapbooked)
pictures.
Landscape pictures (horizontal) are preferable and will take up more of
the screen than portrait (vertical) pictures.
Close-ups are better than shots far away.
Choose photos with emotion and personality.
Consider your audience. Everyone loves to see themselves on the big
screen!

Organize them |
Put them in life order - baby
pictures, childhood, school years, college, and so on.
Number them with either a sticky note on the back or lightly with a
pencil.

Consider music |
Don't worry if
you're stumped here! This is my specialty!!! :)
Take a look through our music lists page and see if anything 'catches
your ear!'
Consider the mood you'd like to create.
Upbeat songs will generally have a faster picture pace (4-5 seconds per
photo) and slower songs will move slower (5-8 seconds per photo.)
Consider using instrumental songs. Sometimes lyrics don't exactly fit
the pictures perfectly.
If you own the music, please obey copyright laws. We can accept MP3
and CD formats. You must be responsible for copyright compliance.
If you do not own the music we will purchase it for you.

Set up an appointment |
We will meet in person at our
downtown Schenectady office and start to put it all together! Our
turn-around time for a basic or silver plan is approximately one month.
Plan on up to two months for the gold or platinum plans.

Our office is conveniently located on the corner of
State and Lafayette Streets in downtown Schenectady and
just down the street from Proctor's Theatre. |
